DOES the council not realise that the reason people park on the nearby roads in Hartford, is because the station car park is usually full?
It’s not expensive to park for the day, that is if you can find a place.
What is needed is a larger car park.
Where do they expect commuters to park?
The Government is continually lecturing the public to use public transport, so instead of putting up barriers the local council should be helping the public access the station. It’s not rocket science. But imagine all that revenue from parking fines, or am I being a bit too cynical?
