READING some of the comments in the Guardian and also being a member of the Northwich and Local life group on Facebook, I get the impression that a lot of people in Northwich could not be pleased by anything that is done to improve the town.

But I guess this all started from the minute the stagnating town started to get investment - people were beginning to worry that their daily complaint of no investment in the town was no longer valid.

So instead they just complain about anything new, many times before even trying the said new thing.

The roundabout was a bit of classic before it even opened there were complaints and derision, then when it did appear to work you hear nothing.

So what next to start on, oh yes, Barons Quay and it is not even complete.

Cheshire West and Chester Council has its issues but when they read these things they must wonder why they are trying to improve the town.

At least they could now give the town a new name Northwich-Never Happy, this might bring in tourists just for the novelty of it all.
