I STILL think there are too many traffic lights on the new roundabout, especially when moving from one lane to the other, but I appreciate it’s meant to help the “flow” of the traffic.
However, coming from town going towards Rudheath you are trying to change lanes then could be stopped at lights, it doesn’t give you enough time to get over.
Then there’s the pre-existing lights round the corner as you go towards town where you can’t see if any traffic has stopped until it’s too late because it’s a blind bend.
I haven’t seen any near misses or people crossing lanes so I think it does work and is clearly marked which lane you need to be in but it does take a little getting used to.
