Never say yes to the first offer
LAST week I decided to dispose of my Mitsubishi Shogun to a vehicle dismantler.
When you are disposing of a vehicle the removal costs are important.
For this reason, I first contacted a vehicle dismantler which is based in Winsford.
Their offer for my car was £31.75, which I refused.
I then contacted a Northwich firm who offered me £85 with free collection. Things were looking up.
My final call was to a Runcorn company who offered me £240 and who collected the vehicle for free.
With just two phone calls I had made an extra £208.
The morale to this story is the biggest are not always the best and never take the first offer.
