IT MAY look like a carbuncle but the Memorial Court is a great asset to the town.
However the wonderful new theatre was barely a quarter full for the professional play Bye Bye Baby on Tuesday night.
This play moves on to the Lowry in Manchester next week but unless the good people of Mid Cheshire give their only professional theatre more support these kind of performances will cease to visit the town.
I moan more than most about our town’s problems but great theatre, amateur and professional is not one of them, what is a problem is the lack of support it receives.
