PERHAPS the most surprising thing to come from the EU Referendum result is, after all the be-moaning of perils of a possible Brexit – the total lack of any plan for that eventuality.

From the Prime Minister or the Leave Campaign.

No consideration of the possible break-up of the UK.

No consideration of potential unrest in Northern Ireland.

It is clear the result is a signal to Westminster that reform is needed and a general election required to restore confidence and bring what is left of the nation together.
