ARE we heading for a perfect storm with Northwich traffic?
At present we have a four-way traffic lights system between Northwich and Barnton and roadworks on Burrows Hill.
We are now informed that Chester Road will be closed at the end of Moss Road for four days.
How are pupils expected to get from Barnton to Hartford High?
How will the buses run between town and Weaverham or Chester?
How will already congested roads on Winnington cope with the extra traffic?
I would expect everything will back up into town and give us gridlock, hence a perfect storm.
How our town traders are expected to cope I don’t know.
Everyone will be avoiding Northwich in the coming week while for some of us it will be difficult to leave.
