I WAS shopping in Winsford town centre and realised I had no handbag. I looked in several shops and was in state of panic.

I could not even contact my husband as my mobile was in the bag.

Eventually we met up and returned home to cancel my cards etc.We were then called from Winsford police station to say a very honest lady had handed in the said item.

I would like to thank the lady in question and her prompt actions.

Also the two police officers and staff at Peacocks and Store 21 for their kind help.
