THE regeneration of the town seems to be an exciting project which I look forward to seeing one day.
May I suggest that the council and developers get together and erect a meaningful sculpture in the town centre?
We already have meaningless blue balls, two blocks of concrete at the salt museum and the monstrosity by the Sea Farer.
May I suggest a proper sculpture of two men who over the years have helped put Northwich on the map?
I refer to Mr Derek Nuttall and Mr Tom Stelfox.
Although great rivals in the world of football I know they had a great deal of respect for each other.
A statue of them shaking hands would be a wonderful reminder of the pleasure these two gentlemen have given to many people in the town through their hard work and devotion to their respective clubs.
