Sceptical of 20mph zone
I FULLY support the installation of 20mph zones near schools in Cheshire east but it will be wasted money unless the speed limits are enforced.
The speed limit on the A534 between Crewe and Nantwich has been reduced from 40mph to 30mph but it is being widely ignored because there is no enforcement. I asked the council what it intended to do to enforce the speed limit and was told it was up to the police, who up to present have done nothing.
Erecting signs and hoping motorists will conform is a waste of money.
