I AM contacting you to express how disgusted the residents of Davenham are with the council.
Two trees were planted just after the First World War to commemorate the fallen soldiers.
These trees have been chopped down by the council and no notification was given to the residents.
We are questioning the council's reasons behind this which could take some time.
What we now want is s reassurance that the trees are replaced and done in the correct way.
