I LIVE in Weaverham and I am beginning to think this village is going to be a way out of the Winnington village.
I have always said you cannot build all those houses without proper road infrastructure.
Trying to get out of the new village over the single bridge into Barnton will not work, going through the one way system in Northwich won’t work, going up Burrows Hill in a morning with the schools rush will not work, putting traffic lights up just delays people’s journeys even more, very frustrating.
Going through Weaverham will make it easy for people who work in Chester, Runcorn, Liverpool or Manchester.
Is that why the speed limits are to be lowered on the stretch of road from Hartford Golf Club to Weaverham?
I understand the reason they have not changed the speed limit on this road is due to financial reasons, well for all those like me who were fined £35 for parking outside the co-op in Weaverham please use that money towards the signs, I feel it would have gone to a good cause.
