IT IS about time the highways team at Cheshire West and Chester Council sorted out Lostock crossroads/Manchester Road.
Every single morning, without fail, there are queues because there’s no filter lane for traffic turning right towards Wincham and the industrial estates (A559).
HGVs are using the route and with traffic heading out of Northwich, traffic heading in just cannot get through.
Combine that with school rush hour and the standard practice of parents driving their kids in, it just results in annoyance for those trying to get to work on time.
A simple right filter light for those HGVs would allow them to move on and the cars behind to head into Northwich. The industrial estate is getting busier and as a result the HGVs are getting larger.
Just this week I was stuck behind an absolute monster artic and I was stuck for four traffic light movements.
It is all incredibly frustrating – let’s have a look at it CWAC!
