WHY, oh why, are lorries allowed to use the Warrington Old Road?
These lanes have a speed limit of 50mph in most parts yet big, heavy trucks insist on using this unsuitable route at 30mph to 4mph.
It's so frustrating, especially around 8.45am when motorists are trying to get to work on time.
It's bad enough with tractors, although there are farms in this area, and cyclists, although these can be overtaken safely.
However, large lorries just trundle along with dozens of frustrated drivers behind.
In Canada, it is the law of the road for big vehicles which travel slower to pull over and let traffic pass at regular intervals.
I wish the same logic was applied in this country.
