I READ your article about the proposed gymnastic centre at Moss Farm.

I just wanted you to hear a different perspective on the matter.

As you will know there is an extremely successful gymnastics club that already runs out of Winnington – Hartford School of Gymnastics.

My daughter Ella has attended sessions there since the age of two, she is now 14.

It’s not fancy, it’s not in the press a lot but it is amazing.

They have regional and national champions on their books, a fantastic display squad and have a team of girls who work free of charge for British Gymnastics at all major events as the ceremonies team.

They will be at the World Championships in October.

Charlie and Michelle work so hard with coaches who themselves have come up through the ranks of the club.

They know every single child passing through the door and work every day and evening to keep the club going.

The children are fundraising like mad for a new floor.

They do it because they love it and they are like a second family to the girls and boys who attend.

I fear for the future of this incredible club with such new facilities opening on their doorstep and wanted to champion the cause of Hartford School of Gymnastics.
