HAVING read the report in last week's Guardian regarding Scottish Power building on Midpoint 18, I think its time that the bypass was given the go-ahead before anymore permission is granted to anyone wishing to expand businesses in this area.
There is far too much traffic going through Middlewich and this would only add to the massive problems that we already have.
Living just off Lewin Street I am more than aware of the quantity of traffic as frequently I have a problem crossing the road on foot and also turning on to the road in the car.
Everyone knows we have huge problems in Middlewich with the amount of traffic so a by pass is more than necessary before any more permission is granted.
