Risk to assess WAS Cheshire East aware of the imminent opening of a care home for those with learning challenges when it chose its Travellers’ Transit Site to be situated close by on Cledford Lane?
It seems risky for these two establishments to be so close unless both are carefully monitored.
The additional proposed waste transfer site on the same road adds to the hazards of traffic movements and vulnerable pedestrians.
What risk assessment has been made of these three establishments grouped together some distance from the town centre? There is little residential or industrial activity along the road apart from large vehicular movements to adjacent businesses.
This combination appears to create a substantial threat to especially the occupants of the care home.
