DEMOCRACY seems to serve the people no longer, but rather vested interest.

Of all the bad that the vested interests do, perhaps their worst impact is the hold they have over our government.

Democracy must be the solution.

In a democracy, our political system is the only institution that truly represents us – our wishes, our rights, our aspirations.

But our system of party politics forces us to choose one path, one party.

Our views are so complex as are we, but our politics are not.

Many voters have Conservative view of taxes, Green views of the environment and Labour views of social justice.

Our views are not party politics, they are human.

We need our politics, politicians and government to reflect this.

Fixing our democracy is the first step in moving forward to a better society and world.

We need to take power out of the hands of big money donors, unions and big business and put it back where it belongs, in the hands of the people.

We need more grassroots, interactive accountable politics.

We need to bring faith and trust to a system that from its conception has been focused on bettering the lives of a few rather then a majority.

People need to have faith and confidence that it's worth getting involved.
