LIKE so many readers I have been waiting with anticipation for the Sandiway Tower to be rebuilt at long last.
So I have been watching with interest the progress of its reconstruction by the specialist contractor that we have paid a fortune for.
I have watched... and I have watched...
So far one course of stone blocks has gone up, and all this at the gross inconvenience of motorists who have to contend with lane closures and detours.
What is going on?
It is in stark contrast to the plethora of housing developments blighting this once beautiful area where a whole house can go up in a matter of days, as time is money in housing development.
I don't know who the Sandiway Tower contractors are but the speed needs to be addressed.
