THE wife of Scots football legend Colin Hendry will be laid to rest at a church overlooking a pitch where their son played.
Hundreds of mourners are expected to attend the service for Denise at St Cuthbert's in Lytham, Lancashire, on Friday.
Mum-of-four Denise, 43, who had botched cosmetic surgery seven years ago, passed away last Friday after 12 weeks in intensive care at Salford Royal Hospital.
She had recently suffered from a post-operative infection after one of a series of operations to repair damage done by a disastrous liposuction procedure in 2002.
Denise will be buried next to where she and Colin watched son Kyle. The couple's children are Rheagan, Kyle, Calum and Niamh, aged 19 to nine.
