REGARDING the picture on page 3 of last week's Guardian featuring the Winsford Academy building.
This a prime example of how to design a large modern building which complements, rather than insults, its surroundings.
It is clean, white and light reflective, and everything surface-wise that our new Memorial Hall building is not.
I hope the Cheshire West and Chester Council planning committee, which presumably must have approved the designs for both buildings, can see the difference.
