FURTHER to my letter in the Guardian, November 5, I neglected to say that it was Winsford I was talking about and not Northwich as was published, “This vandalism is infuriating”.
I would not be complaining so much about the facilities if I lived in Northwich.
Yes, the road works are a pain in Northwich and people are being inconvenienced.
However, at least Northwich has a future plan clearly visible in the developments going on in the town.
What with a new cinema and leisure facilities to look forward to, good bus routes, and the new Barons Quay development to include restaurants, bars and shops all of which equate to more employment and growth.
Now what has been done in Winsford, oh yes, we built a wider road to allow people through the town faster!
Winsford has a good community who deserve better, so come on mayor earn your keep and start investing in the town you represent!
