EXCELLENT idea to warn people regarding symptoms for bladder and kidney cancers and the need to note if there is blood in the urine. Something is missing though, this is a serious symptom related to prostate cancer.

Around 12,000 men die each year from prostate cancer against the 7,600 men and women from the two cancers above. 16,600 were diagnosed against 40,000 men with prostate cancer each year.

It is important to educate regarding symptoms, but it is just as important to inform men who are at risk from prostate cancer.

This particular symptom is a risk factor with any of the pelvic cancers and anyone noticing blood in their urine should always see their GP, including men at risk from prostate cancer.

Men can always rely on us at the Leighton Prostate Cancer Support Group, we’ll keep an eye on them.
