I AM writing to agree and disagree with some of the comments in Guardian letters recently about the Winsford Neighbourhood Plan.

Mr Roland is correct to say it is not the Winsford Neighbourhood Plan that is bringing 3,500 homes to Winsford.

The 3,500 new builds by 2030 are coming NP or no NP. That is because the Government say so as part of the allocation for CWAC.

People who say it is the NP bringing the 3,500 homes are confused.

I agree that there are two groups trying to stop the NP.

One group are the developers who want the NP stopped because it stops them building all over our best areas and the other group opposed is the Rilshaw group.

I find it strange that the Rilshaw group and the developers want the same thing.
