I AGREE with Cllr Michael Parsons that we never wanted to split up Cheshire in any case and, in fact, were vehemently opposed to the split.

I would welcome the reunion, especially as Cheshire West seems to ride roughshod over our views, one example being the gyratory system around Northwich.

This is a hugely expensive project that the great majority did not want in the first place and has replaced a system which worked a great deal better before.
