AFTER reading the comments of Dave Hodkinson on last week’s front page I would like to agree with him.
I recently walked the town centre counting empty shops and found approximately 31.
What everyone would like to know is what plan is in place to revitalise the centre of town and fill these shops.
Is demolition imminent of the vacant shops, to make way for even bigger shops.
We are not against bigger shops but we definitely need the smaller, individual shops to provide the all-important, non, mass produced items which will satisfy all needs.
Can anyone, in the know, please tell us public, what the plans are for the centre and publish it in the Guardian, so that we can be assured of a vibrant, re-vitalised shopping throughout Northwich.
Tell us the truth, no matter what it is, we need to know now.
