A SMALL team of volunteers from the Neuromuscular Centre in Winsford, held a collection at Booths supermarket in Knutsford on Saturday, August 23.

We would like to say a huge thanks to Booths and the customers who helped raise £404 for the NMC’s services for people with the progressive muscle wasting disease muscular dystrophy.

NMC is based in Winsford and is the centre of excellence for people with muscular dystrophy, resulting in people with the condition travelling from throughout Cheshire to access specialist services and support.

We couldn’t have raised such a magnificent amount of money if we hadn’t had the slot allocated by Booths and also our wonderful volunteers who gave of their time so willingly.

Many thanks.
