I WOULD like to add my congratulations for a fabulous show by your Billy Nomates at the Litfest.

His column was always the talk of the household but we never realised how good a writer he actually is. Some of his serious passages touched on genius. His format of using actors to speak his words definitely worked.

I do not believe, as some suggested, that he should perform ‘stand up’. His impaired speech would not support it. The parts he chose to narrate were funny with the slur but I suspect he could sustain half-an-hour.

He did talk of his plays and we would love to see his work performed.

Like the others I wish to thank you for giving him to us. We will definitely be booking to see him next year, if he is included in the programme.

Please pay attention organisers.
