True act of kindness
3:50pm Wednesday 21st August 2013 in Letters
I LIVE in Runcorn but have worked in Northwich for over nine years.
I went for lunch one day recently in Northwich town centre and parked as normal in the car park next to Marks and Spencer.
On return to my car, I spotted a note on my window screen which read ‘if you have lost your mobile phone, it is in Marks and Spencer’.
I checked my handbag and sure enough my phone – an iPhone 5 – was missing.
I went to M&S and collected my phone.
Unfortunately, this kind person did not leave their name or any details for me to thank them.
Through the Northwich, Winsford and Middlewich Guardian, I would like to do this.
Whoever you are, your kind and honest deed put a huge smile on my face.
It is good to know that there are still extremely decent people out there.
My phone contains hundreds of photos of my two young children.... memories that would have been lost.
I would like to say a huge thank you and I hope your act of honesty and kindness is rewarded in a big way.
