Saving money is heart-warming

YOUR readers might be interested to learn of a scheme that allows them to save money on their gas and electricity bills by joining with others in Cheshire East Borough.

Energy providers will be invited to bid for the combined users accounts as if they were a single entity.

The company with the lowest offer will be invited to supply energy for the whole group. Previous auctions around the country have saved households up to £200 per year.

It is free and straightforward to sign up. There is no obligation to change suppliers if you decide not to participate. The more who do join the scheme, the lower the eventual bill for all those involved.

Just fill in one simple online form at cheshireeast.gov.uk/energytogether.

Have a recent energy bill to hand so that Cheshire East can estimate your annual energy usage and spend. If you don’t have internet, call 0300 123 5035 by April 8.
