IN response to your article ‘Fiona Bruce MP votes against gay marriage in Commons vote’ I wanted to applaud her for not being afraid to stand up for her beliefs.
I know many gay couples who have no interest in the gay marriage debate, believing that the need for recognition and protection of their rights are already covered by the civil partnership.
I believe the debate is driven in central government by Stonewall’s agenda, which continues to chip away at the Christian foundations of this country and push their liberal, anything goes ideology on to an apathetic public.
It is pleasing to hear that we have MPs in Cheshire who don’t just roll over and toe the party line.
