ON Monday morning (January 21) my car decided it was too cold and in the process ended up running out of petrol.
Unfortunately I ended up breaking down on Beach Road at the top of Burrows Hill, unable to move. I was bowled over by the human kindness shown to me.
The number of people who stopped to ask if I was ok and the number of people who helped me to move my car back to a safer spot and get it started and even the lovely woman who asked if I would like to come inside to keep warm and have a brew, astounded me. I want to say a massive thank you to all those lovely people. It’s restored my faith in human kindness.
