I GET weary of reading negative letters about Northwich in the Guardian almost every week.
I’ve always lived here and like the town very much. It’s looking a bit sad in parts at the moment, but then so are a lot of other places. We should be encouraged by the proposed improvements, Hayhurst Quay, Memorial Court and Barons Quay, which, from what I’m hearing, will make a huge difference to the town creating plenty of jobs and facilities. Large companies have chosen to invest in Northwich and surely we should be glad of their support. Let’s try and be more positive about the changes and at least give them a chance.
I’m sure that the new will blend with the old and we can continue to be proud of our town.
