I TAKE my grandson to Victoria Road School and back and I am very concerned that there are lots of cars up and down at these times.
There has been a crossing built at the end of the road but most parents cross the road halfway down. The children are allowed to go on their own at 9am but they copy the parents of others and run across.
As a grandparent, I feel that the parents should be teaching the children how to be safe and use the crossing. I’ve had to slam my brakes on more than once to avoid a child.
