Stoke City v Arsenal preview

By Staff reporter »

I WILL be watching at least one horror show today, so I hope that there is not another one at the Brit today.

To explain, I am supervising at a Hallowe'en party, where a range of horrific costumes will be on display.

Arsenal are one of those teams who could not only beat but destroy almost any team in the Premier League on their day, leaving their fans and manager with nightmares.

If Theo Walcott, Cesc Fabregas and co are angry after letting slip a two goal lead in midweek, Stoke could be in trouble.

Yet should we be seriously worried? This team let in four against Tottenham, a side who Stoke beat easily, admittedly under a different coach.

Mikael Silverstre is likely to play centre back for them today, with William Gallas out injured - anyone fancy Silvestre's chances of keeping tabs on Ricardo?

If the boy Fuller gets the ball to his feet, one-on-one with the man Alex Ferguson gave away, we could get some joy.

Plus surely the result and performance against Sunderland will lift the team and the crowd.

Maybe it's my heart talking but I have some good vibes ahead of this game.

I think Arsenal will score against us, which would be no disgrace.

But I cannot see their defence keeping us out for 90 minutes either.

My score prediction: 2-2.
