I had good intentions this past week, but my daughter was ill so all I managed to achieve was a continual washing cycle and scrubbing the place down with disinfectant.

I spent Friday night sobbing

I spent Friday night sobbing into a shredded tissue! Won’t forget the face of the little girl, aged nine, who lost her mum to AIDS; left alone to raise her baby sister.

This week I began a qualification in Community Volunteering at Voluntary Action Vale Royal. It is to certify some of the work we do in the community. We look into why people volunteer and how best to engage with others in our communities.
