  • "So let me get this right....
    1. A football club with not enough money to pay what it owes to a local school.
    2. Has no ground so all 'home' games are going to be played on a pitch 40 miles away from it's fan base.
    3. Is expecting to see gate figures increase thus creating income and paying back some of the money it owes.
    4. and Lord Lucan is alive and well and working in the coffee bar at Brats.

    Your avin a larf John."

FA recommends Northwich Victoria play in Northern Premier League's Division One South

Vics placed by FA in league’s southern section Vics placed by FA in league’s southern section

NORTHWICH Victoria will play in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League’s Division One South next season, the Football Association has decided.

The governing body’s Leagues Committee today released its recommendations for how non-league football should look with Vics – relegated from the Premier Division as punishment for breaking finance rules – one of the teams moved.

The club has arranged to share Stafford Rangers’ pitch, a determining factor in the FA’s suggestion that the team be placed in the league’s southern section.

The line-up will be confirmed by the member clubs at next month’s league AGM in Blackpool.
