NORTHWICH will be motivated to poop Chester’s title-winning party when the two teams meet at the Exacta Stadium today, Monday.

The hosts need a point to finish first, the reward for which will be a second successive promotion and a place in Blue Square Bet North next season.

They are in form too; nine successive wins is the best sequence of any side in the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division this term, while Neil Young’s men are unbeaten in their past dozen matches.

A 2-1 win at Stocksbridge on Saturday helped them to better Vics’ previous season best of 11 games without defeat.

Wes Baynes (ankle) and Chris Simm (stomach) were injured at Bracken Moor, while Christian Smith (calf) has sat out the past couple of matches too.
