NORTHWICH Victoria have appointed former Padiham boss Steve Wilkes as their new manager.
Wilkes replaces Paul Moore, who resigned last week due to work commitments.
Back in 2013, Wilkes led Padiham to promotion from the North West Counties Premier Division title.
The new manager will be joined by a coaching team of assistant manager Steve Pickup and first-team coach Andy Payton, a former Celtic and Burnley striker.
Wilkes looks set to take charge of the team for Saturday's trip to Maine Road.
I'm delighted and honoured to be the new manager @NorthwichVicsFC a club with so much history. I can't wait to get started in my new role 💚
