NORTHWICH Victoria are on the lookout for a new manager after Paul Moore resigned his post.

Moore left the club following Wednesday night’s game against Hanley Town, which was abandoned due to floodlight failure with Vics 3-0 down.

Increased work commitments have been cited as the reason for Moore’s departure.

“Paul leaves with our sincere thanks and appreciation for everything he has done for the club, especially during the difficult season last year and once again assembling a new team for this season’s campaign,” a Vics statement said.

“Paul has worked incredibly hard during his time with the Trickies and has always been professional and dedicated in everything that he has done.

“The search now begins for a new manager and with no game for the next 10 days, the club will endeavour to find a replacement manager as quickly as possible”

Moore leaves Vics 16th in the Hallmark Security North West Counties League table.
