Northwich Victoria release details for five pre-season friendly matches

NORTHWICH Victoria have released details of five friendlies in which manager Andy Mutch can run the rule over his new recruits before next season starts.

Vics will travel to North West Counties League Premier Division pair Alsager Town and Congleton Town on successive Saturdays, starting on July 21, both matches starting at 3pm.

A trip to Rhyl, runners-up in the second tier of Welsh football last term, follows on the first weekend in August.

Blue Square Bet North outfit Vauxhall Motors visit Northwich at Flixton’s Valley Road home three days later before Mutch’s men take a trip to former Football Conference foes Redditch United seven days before the league’s curtain-raiser.
