MARK Danks scored five goals as Northwich Victoria put poor Bardon Hill Sports to the sword.
The diminutive front man took his season tally to nine in Vics’ crushing 8-0 win over the Leicestershire minnows, netting twice inside the first 18 minutes.
Simon Grand made it 3-0 on the half hour to end the contest.
But Andy Preece’s men, already assured their place in the third qualifying round, added a further five goals after the break.
Wayne Riley’s volley accounted for number four, then Danks drilled in a fifth to leave keeper Arron Harris rooted to the spot.
Grand nodded in from close range to score his fourth goal of the campaign, then Danks finished expertly twice more to complete the rout.
Liam Hebberd spurned the visitors’ best chance, Curtis Aspden’s stunning save thwarting the Bardon man a moment of glory after he had sprinted clear onto Jake Duffy’s pass.
