NEIL Redfearn has signed for Frickley Athletic.
The now former Vics boss, who resigned last weekend, has agreed to turn out for the UniBond Premier Division strugglers.
He could make his debut today.
The 42-year-old joins a club without a manager following Billy Heath's departure this week after Frickley's winless start to the season.
They lie penultimate bottom after eight matches.
"Neil can still compete at UniBond League level and will give the side a much-needed lift," read a statement on Frickley's official website.
Senior players Chris Hilton, Jon Hood and Steve Robinson have been put in temporary charge while the Blues search for a new manager.
They travel to Ashton United this afternoon.
