To see if Vics can halt Bootle’s winning sequence by starting one of their own.
Steve Wilkes’ side have yet to play in February, and four of their past five scheduled North West Counties League fixtures have been postponed.
They have continued to train despite the weather, but are short of match-practice in recent weeks.
A maiden victory in 2018 is their aim this weekend.
Bootle have won five of their past six Premier Division matches, and sit sixth in the table.
They are also seeking to complete a double after prevailing at Townfield in the return meeting in September.

“There is silverware to play for as well because we’re still in the league cup, and our aim is to win it.
“If we can, then that bodes well for the lads that stay and also will help us to persuade potential new signings that we’re a side on the up.”

The striker has an opportunity to impress with leading goal-scorer Brian Matthews ruled out by an injury.
With Jay Hart still making his way back to full-fitness too, the former Newcastle University student hopes to spearhead the visitors' attack.
He hasn’t let down Vics when he’s been called upon previously this season.

Full-back Daniel Johnson is suspended, while leading goal-scorer Brian Matthews (hamstring) is ruled out by a muscle injury.
The visitors should have everybody else available, including Kieron Kenny after he recovered from a thigh strain.
