Why should I watch..?
Trafford can keep alive their hopes of finishing in a play-offs place if they beat Northwich for a second time at Shawe View this season.
The first was in an Integro Doodson Cup clash in September.
Vics, after a surprise defeat at home to Scarborough in midweek, will be keen to return to winning ways.
They start the contest placed third in the table, six points adrift of second-placed Spennymoor.
Numbers game
A 2-1 reverse at Glossop North End last weekend ended Trafford’s seven-match unbeaten run in Division One North. They have won four successive home games.
Vics have failed to score in only one of their past 10 away fixtures in the league. Indeed, only leaders Warrington Town have a higher goals tally on the road.
Man to keep an eye on
Richie Bennett
The Northwich forward scored a hat-trick in last Saturday’s hammering of Kendal, adding to a goal in a 3-2 win against Warrington the previous weekend.
He has now hit the net 24 times during what has been an excellent campaign.
