LEE Ashcroft received his prize on Saturday for being the best manager in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League’s Division One South during January.

The Northwich Victoria boss was presented with a certificate to mark his achievement by league representative Mark Ogley, plus personalised clothing to wear in the dugout each game from kit supplier Errea.

He guided Vics to a six-game unbeaten sequence last month including league wins against Leek Town and Loughborough Dynamo, drawing too with Gresley.

They progressed as well to the Doodson Sport Cup last 16 following victories against league rivals Chasetown and Market Drayton.

Victory at Crewe in the Cheshire FA Senior Cup, setting up a quarter finals date with Vauxhall Motors, completed a successful month for the former Kendal boss.
