Jessica Ennis claimed the World Indoor pentathlon gold medal in Doha on Saturday with a championship record score of 4,937 points.
Last summer's world heptathlon champion erased the mark of 4,933 points the legendary Carolina Kluft set in Birmingham seven years ago.
Nataliya Dobrynska and Tatyana Chernova, the Beijing Olympics heptathon gold and bronze medallists, followed her home.
