Ormesher arrives to bolster Albion attack
WITTON boss Brian Pritchard has moved swiftly to sign a striker following the departure of Mark Buchan earlier this week.
He added Martin Ormesher to his squad last night, Friday.
The 29-year-old switches from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels, for whom he featured as a substitute against Albion last month.
He has been on the books of Droylsden and New Mills this term too, and counts Cheshire League club Middlewich among his clubs last season.
Pritchard was left with only two available attackers – top scorer Ashley Stott and Shaun Tuck – following Buchan’s switch to Clitheroe in search of regular football.
