SHAUN Tuck will have a chance to score against his former club sooner than expected after Witton were paired with Skelmersdale in the FA Trophy.

The front man left the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One North outfit in the summer to join play-offs winners Albion on a two-years contract.

Last year’s league foes will now meet in the second qualifying round later this month.

Tuck was on target twice for Witton in Saturday’s 4-1 thrashing of Premier Division rivals Blyth Spartans, taking his season tally to five from 11 appearances.

Witton pocketed £2,550 as a reward for victory too.

Brian Pritchard’s men play host to Skelmersdale, the last team to beat them in Division One North back in February, on Saturday, October 27, kick off 3pm.

The victors will move to within a win of the competition’s first round proper, a stage Albion have not reached for five years.
