Match Pointers
WITTON Albion travel to take on a team manager Paul Ogden predicts will be one to watch in Evo-Stik League Division One North this term.

His players, boosted by Saturday’s win over Garforth Town, will be keen to avoid a repeat of last season’s embarrassing UniBond League President’s Cup last eight exit.

But AFC Fylde’s hat-trick hero that night, former Albion loanee Danny Penswick, is ruled out tonight, Tuesday, with a broken foot.

However the home team can recall former Lancaster City captain Michael Stringfellow as he returns from suspension.

Last season’s leading scorer Matt Walwyn challenges Andy Bell for a place alongside Tom Cahill in attack.

Visitors Witton may shuffle their pack.

Defender Ben Harrison is available again after missing the weekend win, meaning Matthew Holt may return to right back in place of Scott Moffatt.

Danny Warner is an alternative on the other flank, which would allow pace man Matthew Wood to play further forward.

Front man Chris Smith is pushing for a start too after an impressive cameo as a substitute on Saturday.
